PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce working hours for press-fit work of a pile in a pile press-fit device for making press-fit of the pile while making excavation in advance with a casing loaded earth auger. SOLUTION: A pile press-fit device 10 is capable of being raised and lowered by a hydraulic cylinder 15, and it has a chuck 16 for gripping a casing loaded earth auger 17a (17). A pile chuck 21 for gripping a U-shaped steel sheet pile 2 is provided to the earth auger 17 in a liftable manner by means of a hydraulic cylinder 20. The press-fit of the steel sheet pile 2 gripped by the pile chuck 21 is made in a state to place it along the earth auger 17. A member for bearing the earth auger 17 or the steel sheet pile 2 is not placed between the earth auger 17 and steel sheet pile 2. Accordingly, the earth auger 17 with a large diameter can be so placed that almost overall area in a recess section of the steel sheet pile 2 is occupied with the earth auger 17. By the constitution, the excavation range of the earth auger 17 can be broadened, force required for the press-fit of the steel sheet pile 2 can be reduced, and the press-fit of the steel sheet pile 2 can be sped up.
