PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct variation and deviation in color balance among respective color components by correcting a shift, which is an large as a pixel position corresponding to at least one of the difference in storage time by the color components and a different in spatial position among lines of the respective color components of a line CCD sensor as to color components from the line CCD sensor other that any one color component selected as a reference. SOLUTION: A interpolation arithmetic part 160b input information on each storage time of R, G, and B from lines L1 and L2 by each frame of a film and the information on the quantity of variation in the subconveyance speed of the film determined which of the primary coloring R, G and B interpolation arithmetic is to be performed on the basis of by using those pieces of information, and performs the interpolation arithmetic by using by example, five line worth of data stored in a memory 160a for obtaining an image signal having orderly pixel positions of R, G and B. Consequently, the color balance and color deviation of image data due to the storage time difference of the line CCD sensor and/or the quantity of the variation in the subconveyance speed of the film can be corrected.
