PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid electrolytic capacitor which can prevent damages to a case, an anode terminal, a cathode terminal, etc., reduce fraction defective, increase yield, and facilitate work. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for a solid electrolytic capacitor, powder of metal for valve action in which one end of a lead wire for an anode is buried is sintered, and a sintered member is formed. An oxide film and a cathode layer are sequentially formed on the sintered member. An anode terminal 11 is connected with the lead wire for an anode, a cathode terminal 12 is connected with the cathode layer, and case 14 is formed. After the case 14 is formed, a treatment, in which at least either one of the anode terminal 11 and the cathode terminal 12 and the case 14 are brought into contact with flexible electrode members 16 constituted of granular pellets and a voltage in a positive direction is applied, is performed.
