PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a level apparatus having a simple structure good in visibility by mounting levels on mutually differently oriented faces of a mount so that bubbles in the levels are movable in directions perpendicular to the mounting faces. SOLUTION: The level apparatus 10 comprises an L-shaped mount 12 having coupling means 15 for mounting it on an erect rod 18, etc., and levels 10 removably mounted on the mount 12, the coupling means 15 are formed by mounting rubber rings mounted on pins fixed to the plane of the mount 12, and the level 20 has a tubular holder at one end which houses a magnet in a tubular interior. In setting of the verticality of the rod 18, the levels 10 are mounted near the rod 18 top with the mount 12 closely contacted at its two faces to the rod 18 by winding rubber rings of the coupling means around the rod, and set so that bubbles in the levels locate at mid positions in transparent tubes of the levels 20, thereby erecting the rod 18 vertically.
