PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular hook provided with a locking mechanism, in which an opening/closing member is opened outward so that a chain ring or the like can be taken into and out of a hook central hole with ease, and which is easy to handle. SOLUTION: A base end of an opening/closing member 3 is pivotally mounted to one release end part of a hook body 1, while a free end of the opening/ closing member 3 is engaged and disengaged with the other release end part of the hook body 1. A release opening 2a of a central hole 2 of the hook body 1 is opened and closed outward. When the opening/closing member 3 is disposed at a closing position, a locking mechanism 11 provided to the opening/closing member 3 is moved forward by urging force of a spring 13. As a result, the locking mechanism 11 holds the other release end part of the hook body 1 such that the opening/closing member 3 remains at the closing position.
