PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position recognition system capable of defining correspondence relation between the identification information of a radio tag arranged on a detection area and coordinate information and writing accompanying information for the radio tag on a coordinate position in the detection area as necessity. SOLUTION: Exciting coils C1, C2,..., Cm are arranged in the x direction of a matrix 310, exciting coils A1, A2,..., An are arranged in the y direction, the x-y coordinates of the exciting coils are written in each radio tag 2 (a, b, c,..., l), and accompanying information also is writtern as necessity. When the identification information and coordinate information of the radio tag 2 (a, b, c,..., l) are read out by a detection coil. 313 and a detection circuit 314, their correspondence relation can be defined. |
