PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solidified body without requiring heating at high temp. by mixing slaked lime and weathered granite powder having a specified composition. SOLUTION: Staked lime is mixed with weathered granite powder having the compsn. of 7 to 17 mass% Al2O3, 2 to 10 mass% alkali metal oxides and/or alkaline earth metal oxides, 1 to 6 mass% ignition loss, and substantially the balance SiO2. Preferably, the compsn. of the weathered granite powder consists of 9 to 15 mass% Al2O3, 3 to 9 mass% alkali metal oxides and/or alkaline earth metal oxides, 1 to 3 mass% ignition loss and substantially the balance SiO2, considering to maintain the strength of the solidified body. The structural phase of the weathered granite powder contains, by XRD observation, quartz, soda feldspar, orthoclase, mica, kaoline mineral and chlorite. Preferably, the inorg. material blend contains at least one kind of NaCl, MgCl2, Fe2O3 and Al(OH)3. The amt. of staked lime is preferably 5 to 30 wt.%. |
