PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate facsimile communication even with respect to an opposite side terminal which receives a message, only when a telephone number is made to be known, even at the time of calling via a memory dial when a calling side selects a mode in which an own telephone set telephone number is not notified in normal calling. SOLUTION: This equipment makes calls without notifying its telephone number at calling, and when the opposite terminal rejects the incoming call because the telephone number is not notified, it shows the effect on a display circuit 36. Then, when an operator gives permission for telephone number notification to the destination in response to the display, the operator registers the target telephone number as the telephone number of this dial by a single action or abbreviated dialing after a specified number (186).
