PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert correction data described in a method except the description method, which can correspond by a self-machine into correction data described in a description method that can be corresponded. SOLUTION: In this image processor, which corresponds to a correction data derivation expression that is described by an X-Y coordinate system, if a correction data derivation expression is not described by the X-Y coordinate system (in the case of negative decision at a step 112), the correction data derivation expression is converted into a correction data derivation expression described by the X-Y coordinate system (steps 114 and 115). For instance, the relation (r'=r+A.r3) between real image height r' and ideal image height (r) represented by the polar coordinate system by using a constant A is converted into relational expressions (X'=X+AX3+AY2X) and (Y'=Y+AY3+AY2X) between real image height (X' and Y') and ideal image height (X and Y) represented by the X-Y coordinate system. Then a photographic print of a satisfactory image quality is obtained by correcting the image quality degradation of a subject image which is caused by the aberration of a camera lens by the use of a correction data derivation expression after conversion (step 124).
