MOISTURE CONTAINING MATTER DRYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture containing matter dryer for evaporating moisture in a moisture containing matter by heating a metal through electromagnetic induction in which drying time is shortened efficiently. SOLUTION: The moisture containing matter dryer comprises a containing section 12 made of a nonmetallic material, a baffle plate 13 composed of plates at least of a magnetic compensating metallic material 13a and a low permeability metallic material 13b for mounting a moisture containing matter in the containing section 12, and an electromagnetic induction heating coil 16 disposed oppositely to the magnetic compensating metallic material 13a of the baffle plate 13 on the outside of the containing section 12. Heat generated from the baffle plate 13 through electromagnetic induction is concentrated to the baffle plate 13 and dry state of the moisture containing matter is grasped based on the variation in the permeability of the magnetic compensating metallic material 13a incident to progress of dry up of the moisture containing matter. Drying time is shortened using an appropriate mans for accelerating drying operation.
