PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device for a hot air heater in which an assured cleaning operation can be performed. SOLUTION: In a hot air heater, a warm air outlet port 2 is provided in the front surface of the main body 1 of the heating device, an indoor air inlet port 3 is provided in the back surface of the main body 1, a blower for convection is attached to a part near the indoor air inlet port 3 to supply indoor air to the main body 1 and supply hot air from the warm air outlet port 2 in the front surface and a guard for convention in a punching hole is disposed in the back part of the blower for convection. On both the side surfaces of the guard for convection of the blower for convection, slide guides made of a resin extend to a part neat the center of the blower for convection. A filter 8 can be loaded and unloaded along the slid guides.
