PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure by driving a tamper and a vibrator by the same driving source while installing a specified mechanism and carrying out single driving and the adjustment of a speed ratio. SOLUTION: Sprockets 10, 13 are mounted on the rotation axis 9 of the vibrator 8 set up to a screed and a tamper shaft 12 with a tamper edge 11 respectively and connected by a chain 14, and the shaft 9 is driven by a motor 15 and the tamper 11 and the vibrator 8 can be driven simultaneously. Clutches are fitted between the shaft 12 and the sprocket 13 and between the axis 9 and the sprocket 10 as desired, and the tamper 11 and the vibrator 8 are singly driven respectively. Variable pulleys are installed to the shaft 12 and the axis 9 in place of the sprockets 10, 13 and coupled by a V belt, and the motor 15 is rotated and the tamper 11 and the vibrator 8 are driven simultaneously while the outside diameters of the variable pulleys are changed and the speed ratio of both the tamper 11 and the vibrator 8 is adjusted. Accordingly, the device can be simplified, and speed can be controlled easily.
