PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method performing excellent recording onto a DRAW type optical recording medium using an organic dye material for a recording layer. SOLUTION: In this information recording method, the optical record medium consisting of a transparent substrate 1, a light transmissive dyestuff layer 2 formed on the transparent substrate 1 and a reflection layer 3 formed on the dye layer 2 is irradiated with a laser beam to record information. In such a case, the information is recorded by irradiating the dye layer 2 with the laser beam lowering a reflectance than at the time of unrecording and forming a hollow 5 whose reflectance is nearly minimum. |
