PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording body which is excellent in ink jet recording property, is excellent in the absorbency of ink, and also, is excellent in printed face smoothness after printing, and dimensional stability, and by which cockling does not occur. SOLUTION: For this ink jet recording body wherein at least one layer of a recording layer is provided on a base material, the base material is a porous synthetic resin film sheet, and also, the cup water absorption (JIS P8140) is 10 g/m2 or higher. Especially, the Stoeckigt sizing degree (JIS P8122) of the base material is preferably 500 sec or lower. Also, the synthetic resin which constitutes the porous synthetic resin film sheet is preferably a polyolefin resin. |
