PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a power supply terminal for providing a sealed vessel having a pressure strength enough to use an alternative refrigerant of high pressure, enhance the pressure strength of the welded part of a refrigerant connection pipe, prevent rusts resulting from water drops stagnating inside a reinforcement, and enhance the reliability. SOLUTION: An arc-shaped metal piece 15 provided with a notch Ga is welded to the welded part periphery of a power supply terminal 8 on an upper end plate 1 of a sealed vessel 4, while an arc-shaped metal piece 15a provided with a notch Gb is welded to the welded part periphery of a discharge pipe 10 as a refrigerant connection pipe. Even though the internal pressure of the vessel 4 causes deformation of the upper end plate 1, the metal piece 15 or 15a suppresses deformation of the power supply terminal 8 or discharge pipe 10, which enhances the pressure strength of the vessel 4, and removal of water drops is facilitated by the cutouts Ga and Gb to ensure that rust generation is prevented.
