PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing technique of a steel sheet for deep drawing, effective in inhibiting the formation of cluster-like inclusions as well as in preventing the clogging of a nozzle at the time of continuous casting and excellent in surface characteristic, corrosion resistance, formability and deep drawability. SOLUTION: As to the steel sheet for deep drawing and its manufacturing method, the steel sheet contains, by weight, 0.010-0.50% Ti [where 0.005-0.1% of the Ti is contained in the form of non-oxide Ti (Ti*)], >=0.0005% Ca and/or metallic REM, and Al in an amount satisfying inequality wt.% Ti/wt.%Al>=5 or inequalities Al<=0.010 wt.% and wt.% Ti/wt.%Al<5, and further, <=10 ppm Ca and/or metallic REM sulfides are contained in the steel.
