PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pelletizing method of a sintering source material by which the sintering source material can be pelletized into pseudoparticles with high productivity in high yield by properly controlling the amt. of water to be added to the sintering source material to be put in a DL(Dwight-Lloyd) sintering machine. SOLUTION: The critical water concn. W1mc of each sintering source material separately housed in a sintering source material tank 1a to 1n is calculated for each sintering source material from the saturation water absorption Wab and the grain distribution before pelletizing. Then water is added to at least a sintering source material having large saturation water absorption Wab among the sintering source materials housed in the respective sintering source material tanks 1a to 1n to control the water concn. to be higher than its saturation water absorption Wab. Then the sintering source materials are compounded and rolled by a pellatizer 3 to be pelletized into pseudoparticles while water is added so that the water concn. is higher than the critical water concn.
