PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high frequency heating apparatus in which watertightness and cooling performance are excellent even when there is provided the machine chamber below a heating chamber including an electrical heating means. SOLUTION: There is provided a partition plate 16 on the bottom of a heating chamber 9 including an electrical heating means 14b, which plate has extension portions 16a to 16d having peripheral edges directed downward. A machine chamber 15 is formed with the outer casing bottom portion of a body and the partition plate 16. A charging section for electric parts is disposed in the machine chamber 15 inside the extension portions 16a to 16d, whereby watertightness and cooling performance are improved.
