JET BURNER TYPE DRYER/CRUSHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a jet burner type dryer/crusher in which a dried article of desired quality can be obtained without being subjected to thermal damage by improving the mixing/stirring in a processing tank and three phase separation can be realized while reducing the operating cost drastically. SOLUTION: In the jet burner type dryer/crusher, gas is jetted tram a jet burner 2 at a subsonic velocity by supplying oxidizing agent at a rate of 3 kg/cm2G or less and an article 28 to be processed is subjected to drying/crushing in the subsonic region of the jet gas 25. The article 28 is fed to a space in a processing tank 1 which does not come into direct contact the jet gas 25. A mechanism for taking out solid component and liquid component (solid/liquid discharging opening 11, solid/liquid separator 9) is disposed on the bottom of the processing tank 1. Inner temperature of the processing tank is detected at upper and lower points and supply of the article 28 as well as supply of fuel and oxidizing agent to the jet burner 2, is controlled based on the detected temperature.
