摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve economic efficiency by arranging large diameter concrete- filled steel pipe columns in the lower part, and arranging a combined column composed of plural small diameter columns having the lower end parts integrally connected to the steel pipe columns in the upper part of these steel pipe columns. SOLUTION: When using concrete-filled steel pipe columns 12, 14 in a building, large diameter concrete-filled steel pipe columns 12 are arranged in the four-corner parts of a lower story, and a combined column 13 composed of four small diameter concrete-filled steel pipe columns 14 is arranged in the upper parts of the respective concrete-filled steel pipe columns 12. The number of concrete-filled steel pipe columns 14 in the combined column 13 is reduced one by one toward the high story lower part and the high story upper part. Thus, a rational column cross section can be formed toward a high story from a low story in response to a vertical load to be supported. Thus, since an optimal column cross section can be formed toward the high story from the low story in response to the vertical load to be supported, economic efficiency can be improved.
