PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer with a printed wiring substrate supporting device which stably supports various kinds of the printed wring substrate and performs setups and changeovers in a short time and corrects the warpage of the printed wiring substrate. SOLUTION: A negative pressure chamber 118 on a pedestral 114 of a permanent magnet on which a supporting pin 84 is implanted upright, is fitted into a pipe 98 protruding from a magnetic material base 86 and then is fixed by a magnetic force. The supporting pin 84 is moved to a position corresponding to the part where an electronic part is not mounted, on the back face of the printed wiring substrate 30 by moving the pedestral 114 according to the kind of the printed wiring substrate 30. The pipe 98 restricts the movement of the pedestral 114 to maintain the communication between a negative pressure supply aperture 100 and the negative pressure chamber 118. Thus the printed wiring substrate 30 is sucked by a negative pressure to be applied through the pipe 98 and the negative pressure chamber 118 to correct the warpage of the substrate 30. The pedestral 114 is fixed to a base 82 by the negative pressure of the negative pressure chamber 118 to firmly support the printed wiring substrate 30.
