摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively regenerate a catalyst having reduced denitration performance in a few steps without causing the oxidation corrosion of the holding structure by using an aq. ammonium hydrogensulfate soln. contg. a powdery inorg. material as a washing fluid. SOLUTION: A catalyst 1 having reduced denitration performance due to the sticking of alkalis contained in waste gas and coating with heavy metals is put in a washing vessel 2 without detaching from the holding structure and the catalyst 1 is regenerated by washing with a washing fluid 3. The washing vessel 2 has a washing fluid feed inlet and an outlet so that the washing fluid 3 can be allowed to flow through the vessel 2. An aq. ammonium hydrogensulfate soln. contg. a powdery inorg. material is used as the washing fluid 3. An inorg. compd. based on Si, Al, Ti or Fe and used as an abrasive material, e.g. SiO2 or Al2O3 may be used as the powdery inorg. material. The concn. of the ammonium hydrogensulfate in the aq. ammonium hydrogensulfate soln. is preferably in the range of 0.1-10 wt.%.
