PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exchangeable leg base of furniture which facilitates the shifting of a caster and an adjuster to be mounted on a common leg base with respect to a product with the leg base with the adjuster and the leg base with the caster individually produced or kept under inventory control. SOLUTION: A leg base 4 which supports a top plate 2 of furniture on a floor surface through a leg panel 3 is provided with a selectively mounting part adapted to selectively mount one of an adjuster 7 capable of adjusting height and a caster 6 allowing running or movement on the leg base 4. the selectively mounting part is provided with a screw hole for mounting the adjuster to be screwed down on a height adjusting screw shaft mounted on the body of a height adjusting leg body and a screw hole for mounting a caster 6 to bind a shaft bearing body with a screw as rotatably supporting an axle mounted on a wheel in parallel.
