PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly transmit synchronous data together with clocks by outputting serial data as they are as transmission data signals and frequency- dividing and outputting clocks as transmission clock signals in a first module and reproducing the clocks by multiplying the transmission clock signals in a second module. SOLUTION: Synchronous data SDT and a frequency-divided clock signal VCKN from a module 3 are digitally processed again in a module 4. Since a PLL consisting of a phase comparator 41, a charge pump 42, a loop filter 43, a VCO 44 and a frequency divider 45 operates as a synchronous multiplier and generates a clock signal whose phase is synchronized with that of the frequency-divided clock signal VCKN and the generated clock signal becomes the clock signal VCKX having an N-fold frequency of the clock signal VCKN before the frequency divider 45. Then, the synchronous data SDT are latched with the clock frequency VCKX by a data latch 46 to supply them as synchronous data SDTX to a decoder 47.
