PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To time-stretch an input signal without injuring musicality corresponding to various types of musical sounds by changing the number of division of a band and a characteristic to be used of a filter according to the type of the input signal. SOLUTION: The type setting picture of the input signal displayed on a screen of a display device 5 is shown, and a user specifies either one between two kinds of a rhythm sound system and a melody sound system as a type of a musical sound by using an operation element such as a cursor key. The number of division of a band and a characteristic of a filter, e.g. the number of taps used by a time stretch means are changed. The input signal is inputted from an A/D converter 8 and an external storage device (HDD 6, CD-ROM 7) to be transferred to a RAM 3. These input data are read out temporarily from the RAM 3 to be analyzed under control of a CPU 1, and the analyzed data are stored again in the RAM 3 to be transferred to the HDD 6, etc., thereafter. |
