PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device enabling miniaturization of size at a low-cost. SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises plural photoreceptor drums 7a-7d which transfer and form a color image corresponding to plural print primary colors by being scanned by a laser beam 1a emitted from semiconductor laser 1, and a polygon mirror 3 to have the laser beam 1a scan over the plural photoreceptor drums 7a-7d. In this case, by providing each of the plural reflecting surfaces 3a-3d of the polygon mirror 3 with a different slant angle with respect to the rotation axis 3z, it is achieved only by the rotation of the polygon mirror 3 to scan over each of the plural photoreceptor drums 7a-7d and change over the scanning over each of the plural photoreceptors 7a-7d by the scanning with the laser beam 1a reflected by each reflecting surface 3a-3d and the displacements of the laser beam 1a in the direction orthogonal to the direction of scanning by the changes in the slant angle of the reflecting surfaces 3a-3d. |
