PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data communication equipment which can automatically perform a set operation for setting a communication speed and a protocol to the optimal one without depending on operator. SOLUTION: This device is a data communication equipment which has a program storage area 5 and a control part 9 which store plural communication speeds, communication protocols and the like, and performs data communication for external communication equipment 15 by way of a communication line 17, and the control part 9 performs communication by a communication I/F at one of the plural communication speeds by which a communication I/F 11 is stored in the storage area 5 perform communication. Communication equipment 1 has the control part which performs the communication at a different communication speed when the communication is not normally performed, and performs the communication at this communication speed from next time onward when this enables the normal reception. |
