PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject rolling oil comprising a specific monoester, oils and fats and lubricating oil and usable for cold rolling mill in which excellent rolling lubricating property, plate surface quality and resistance to stain of mill are required and improvement, etc., of productivity by high speed rolling is aimed. SOLUTION: This rolling oil having >=40 mN/m surface tension comprises a lubricating oil having >=60 mm2/s kinematic viscosity and <=10 deg.C pour point and comprising (A) 5-40 wt.% monoester obtained from mineral oil, a 12-22C aliphatic carboxylic acid and a 1-12C aliphatic alcohol, (B) 5-70 wt.% oils and fats and (C) 20-90 wt.% complex esters having 750-20,000 molecular weight and obtained from one or more kinds of acids selected from a group comprising a 16-20C higher aliphatic unsaturated dimer acid and a polymer acid and polyols, in which residual COOH and OH are esterified with a 12-22C monohydric alcohol and monohydric fatty acid, and a rolling oil containing a water-soluble dispersant. |
