PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the divergence of the vibration reduction control by the change in the transfer characteristic accompanying the change in the temperature environment. SOLUTION: When a vibration reduction control is executed under the temperature environment, that differs from an initial condition, in accordance with the updating equation of a filter coefficient Wi, which is set based on the vibration transfer characteristic in the initial condition, the value of a divergence preventing coefficientβ, which is contained in the updating equation to stabilize the control, is beforehand set to correspond to the difference between temperature t* of a constant time vibration transfer system and actual temperature (t). Then, the coefficientβ, which corresponds to the difference between temperature detection value (t) of the temperature sensor provided in an active type engine mount and beforehand stored temperature t*, is specified based on that correspondence. Then, the vibration reduction control is conducted in accordance with the updating equation of the coefficient Wi based on the specified coefficient value. Thus, the possibility of divergence in the control is reduced even though the vibration transfer characteristic is changed by the change in the temperature environment and the vibration reduction control is conducted based on a low precision transfer characteristic.
