PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral irradiation type energy irradiation device capable of effectively irradiating energy to a lesion part positioned at a deep part, while preventing the damage of normal tissue easily and positively. SOLUTION: This energy irradiation device is a lateral irradiation type energy irradiation device for irradiating energy with organism deep reaching property into organism tissue. An emission part 3 provided in a housing 4 at the tip part of a long-sized body 2 reflects laser beams led by an optical fiber 12. At this time, a driving part 11 drives an arm 5 to reciprocate the emission part 3, and at the same time, an emission angle is changed by a guide member 10. The laser beams are therefore concentrated on one point of a deep part, so that energy can be effectively irradiated only to an objective part.
