<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch connecting structure for low-voltage cables having compact and high-reliability conductor connection, superior in its workability and having superior waterproofing performance as well. SOLUTION: 1) A trunk cable is cut, and trunk-line conductors 4-1 and 4-2 arranged confronting each other and a branch-line conductor 7 are connected collectively, by compressing them with a C-type connector 1 which is 4-10 times as long as the square root of the sum of the cross sections of each trunk-line conductor and the branch-line conductor. 2) A branch joint is covered with moldings 2-1 and 2-2, having barrel sections and more than two branch sections connected to the barrel sections, and at least the end parts of the moldings are subjected to waterproofing. It is especially effective to use those which are waterproofed at their end parts by forming adhesive agents on their internal surfaces, as moldings.</p> |
