<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display measured data without visually giving a sense of incompatibility even if the measuring direction is reversed, and the top and bottom relation of the device body is reversed by providing a body direction detecting means for detecting the top and bottom direction of a device body part within the device body part. SOLUTION: A body direction detecting device 30 detects the direction of a device body under measurement, and when the top and bottom relation is reversed, it outputs the signal of this content to a display reversion part 40. The display reversion part 40 transmits a command to a display circuit 11 when the signal from the body direction detecting device 30 (or a manual reversion switch 50) to vertically reverse the display direction of the measurement data of a display part 2. When the device body is laid in horizontal posture for the probe of a concrete wall, for example, the body direction detecting device 30 outputs the signal to the display reversion part 40 to operate the display circuit 11 when the top and bottom relation is opposite to the preset normal direction, so that the display of a depth scale is vertically reversed, and the probe image is displayed according to the distance and display scale after reversion.</p> |
