PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid penetrant test apparatus which enhances the reliability of a liquid penetrant test inside a small-diameter pipe. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for liquid penetrant test inside a pipe 6, a nozzle part which is used to jet a fluid for inspection is provided, and an interval control part 2 which is installed in the front in a jetting direction from the nozzle part and which can control the interval between itself and the inside of the pipe 6 is provide. The interval control part 2 controls the interval according to at least one out of the inside diameter of the pipe 6, the kind of the fluid for inspection, the volume of the filling space of the fluid for inspection, the jet amount of the fluid for inspection, the jet pressure of the fluid for inspection, a distance up to the inside of the pipe 6 from the jet point of the fluid for inspection, a distance up to the interval control part 2 from the jet position of the fluid for inspection and the jet angle of the fluid for inspection.
