PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the slip resistance of a shoehorn upon its use, eliminate the slip of the shoehorn upon its use and improve comfortableness in wearing suitable shoes by providing an engaging means or friction means with the heel of a shoe at an end part in the sliding surface side of the shoehorn. SOLUTION: A wedge shaped part 7 is formed from the end 3 of a shoehorn main body 1a to a back surface 4 side to form a protruding part 2. The shoehorn main body 1a comprises a siding surface side 5a for guiding a heel and a grip side 5b. The sliding surface side 5a is formed with a recessed circular surface (curved so as to correspond to the outline of the heel) with its central part as a bottom for guiding the heel. The sliding surface side 5a with small thickness and the grip side 5b are curved in a protruding circular surface in side view to form a shoehorn 1. Further, the shoehorn 1 has a recessed sliding surface 6, the round shape part 8 of the sliding surface side 5a or the like. The material of the shoehorn 1 is not specially limited. Plastics, stainless steel or the like may be preferable in view of requirements of suitable elasticity and molding characteristics, etc.
