SOLID-STATE IMAGE PICKUP METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an image signal exposed through a random shutter from 1/100,000 sec to infinite synchronously with a vertical synchronizing signal by controlling a charge sweep-out pulse and a picture read pulse of a CCD with a trigger signal asynchronously with the vertical synchronizing signal. SOLUTION: A detector 32 detects an object to output a trigger signal 34. A shutter generating circuit 25 outputs once a charge sweep-out pulse 37 (SUB) continuing to output and then, stops it based on a front edge pulse 35 of the trigger signal detected by a front edge detection circuit 26. On the other hand, a solid-state image pickup control circuit 23 outputs an image pickup read pulse 38 based on a tail edge pulse of the trigger signal 34 detected by a tail edge detection circuit 27. An internal synchronizing signal generating circuit 24 generates a vertical synchronizing signal 39 synchronously with a next horizontal synchronizing signal 40 outputting an image read pulse 38 based on a tail edge pulse 36 and outputs an image pickup signal read by a CCD image sensor 21 to the outside.
