PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building remote monitoring device that easily discriminates what calling side a call signal is coming from, without increasing the cost of a communication connecting device which controls communication connection on a building side. SOLUTION: Deciding section 52 to N2 of switching devices 51 to N1 compare a calling source telephone number received through a calling source telephone number message service of NTT with the telephone numbers of a monitoring center 1 for facility monitoring and a monitoring center 2 for security monitoring in a preliminary registered calling source telephone number table, select an appropriate connection destination corresponding to a calling source by searching what it matches with and output a switching signal that is for switching a telephone line to the connection destination and connecting it. Here, when a telephone number that matches with the received calling source telephone number does not exist in the preliminarily registered calling source telephone number table, they output a switching signal which is for switching the connection destination of the telephone line to general subscriber telephone 56 to N6 in monitored buildings 5 to N and connecting to them and switching part 53 switches and connects the connection destination of the telephone line in accordance with the switching signal.
