PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating coating notched electrical connector provided with a signal leakage correcting means, namely, a capacitor near a signal leakage generating source for reducing the signal leakage to be generated between parallel contact elements. SOLUTION: Two rows of insulating coating notched contacts 50 are received by a connector main body 20. Each contact 50 is provided with an insulating coating notched part 52, an intermediate part 55 and a tail part 56. The intermediate part 55 arranged in a channel 27 over the connector main body 20, and the tail part 56 is extended from the connector main body 20 within a common flat surface. Two nonadjacent contacts 50 of each contact row are connected to each other at the intermediate part 55 thereof by a capacitive coupling capacitor, and this capacitor is a chip capacitor 19 or a plate capacitor 42 formed of a pair of plates bonded to each other at a bridge part 44.
