PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a six-surface finishing machine to perform continuous machining of the six surfaces of a rectangular parallelopiped work through the single finishing machine. SOLUTION: A six-surface milling machine is provided with a horizontal clamp device 76 to clamp a workpiece 40 from a side in a horizontal direction; an elevation device 78 to elevate the horizontal clamp device; and a 90 deg. indexing device 120 to rotate the workpiece in addition to a two-ended milling unit 14 provided with an index table 22 and a vertical clamping device 26. By clamping the workpiece by the vertical clamping device 26 and rotating the index table 2, four surfaces are machined. To machine other two surfaces, the workpiece is clamped by the horizontal clamping device 76 for lifting and after it is rotated in a 90 deg. arc centering around a horizontal axis, the workpiece is clamped by the vertical clamping device 26 again.
