PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the using quantity of washing water and to efficiently and surely wash a roller outside a liquid. SOLUTION: Washing nozzles 58 are provided at the oblique upper sides of the both end parts of a pair of rollers 40 in the longitudinal direction. Washing water jetted from the nozzles 58 drops down and its is retained at the nip part of the roller pair 40. By rotating the rollers 40 in the direction that the retained washing water is pulled into the nip part, the retained washing water can be spread in the longitudinal direction of the roller pair 40. Further, even when the jetted washing water does not arrive over the whole in the longitudinal direction of the roller pair 40, the whole in the longitudinal direction of the roller pair 40 can be washed by the retained water. By rotating the roller pair 40 in the direction that the retained washing water is pushed out, the retained dirty water (used washing water) obtained after washing the roller can be discharged. By alternately changing the rotating direction of the roller pair 40, the roller pair 40 can be efficiently washed by using the small quantity of the washing water.
