<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide handrail support structure that can increase handrail support strength. SOLUTION: A waterproof layer formed of a waterproof sheet 4 is formed on a roof face 3, and a handrail 1 is installed on a concrete block 7 fixedly placed on the waterproof layer with an adhesive. A brace member 11 is supported between the handrail 1 and a coping 10 put over a parapet 5 to be a building skeleton, to increase the support strength of the handrail 1, and this support strength is improved by the effective use of the coping 10 originally required for the purpose of waterproofing the parapet 5.</p> |
