PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin powder coating composition having excellent impregnation property in melting and especially excellent adhesivity and mechanical properties after curing and useful for coil-impregnation use or inorganic powder binder use by including a specific epoxy resin, a dicarboxylic acid and a cure accelerator. SOLUTION: The objective composition contains (A) preferably 0-50 wt.% of an epoxy resin of formula (R1 and R2 are each H, a halogen or a 1-5C alkyl; (m) is 0-5), (B) a 4-30C dicarboxylic acid and/or its anhydride (preferably sebacic acid and/or dodecanoic diacid) as a curing agent in an amount of preferably 0.3-1.00 as the equivalent ratio to the total epoxy group and (C) preferably 1-4 pts.wt. (based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A) of a cure accelerator. The composition is preferably further incorporated with 5-70 wt.% of a powdery inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of 1-60μm (preferably spherical silica, fused and crushed silica, etc.).
