PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for reinforcing rods for cave-in prevention, earth retaining, etc., by inserting the glass fiber-reinforced reinforcing rods to bored sections formed to the front of a tunnel and an arched ceiling. SOLUTION: A work unit 19, in which the sections of a plurality of reinforcing rods are inserted successively into bored sections bored to the front of the tunnel and the arched ceiling one by one, is installed to telescopic type standards 14, 15. The work unit 19 has a friction-feed roller 32, a guide tube 34 placed on the upstream side of the friction-feed roller 32, a holding tube 39 holding a plurality of the above-mentioned sections of the glass fiber- reinforced reinforcing rods respectively and a thrust means forward moving and pushing in the above-mentioned sections to the friction-feed roller 32 through the guide tube 34.
