PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door having a simple construction which can be easily inspected and repaired with the door and its vertical frame at the door front contacted perfectly thereby improving the appearance and further providing a sufficient strength for decorative board at the door storage case side. SOLUTION: A sliding door frame 1 is arranged between a vertical frame at the door tail side, a vertical frame at door front side and the upper end of both the vertical frames fixed to a steel frame 11 at the building side through a bracket 12 and is formed to a gate shape by an upper frame 15 fixed to the steel frame 1 of the building through the bracket 12. Also, a rail attaching member 2 is arranged between upper portions of the vertical frame at the door tail and the vertical frame at the door front side in a height adjustable manner to L-shaped fixing projected pieces 13, 8 projected out to the inner surface of the vertical frame at the door tail side and vertical frame at door front side through fixing bolt 212. And a sliding door rail 5 is coupled in a freely detachable manner. Therefore, in a state where the inspection panel is opened, the sliding door rail 5 can be attached in a freely detachable manner from the entrance side.
