PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp structure that provides ease of turning a lamp body and that can prevent reduction of space at the back of a vehicle and breakage of the lamp body. SOLUTION: A surface of a lamp housing 5 and a top of a lens 15 protrude to the outside to such an extent to lie generally in the same plane as a body surface 4a of a trim (or wall surface) 4, thus reducing the amount of protrusion of a lamp body 6. Further, a shoulder portion 17 is formed around the periphery of the lens 15 of the lamp body 6 to thereby obtain space S around the lens 15. With provision of the space S, the lens 15 can be grasped by a hand to change orientation of the lens 15. Consequently, this arrangement can maintain the ease of turning the lamp body 6, while reducing the amount of protrusion of the lamp body 6.
