PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the introduction resistance of a slurry and to achieve a high dispersion effect by disposing drive means for driving both of first and second rotational drive shafts so as to give rise to relative motion between the peripheral surface of a dispersion chamber and an agitation member. SOLUTION: An outer side of a dispersion chamber 1 arranged with an outer cylinder 1c having many small pores across a pair of disk-shaped end plates 1a and 1b is provided with a recovering vessel 2 so as to enclose the dispersion chamber 1. A slurry take-out port 2a is formed in the lower part of the recovering vessel 2. The hollow first rotational drive shaft 3 is inserted into the recovering vessel 2 and is coupled to the end plate 1b of the dispersion chamber 1. A pulley 4 is fixed to the other end of the first rotational drive shaft 3 and is coupled to the drive means via a belt 5. Further, the agitation plate 8 is arranged in the dispersion chamber 1 and the one end of the second rotational drive shaft 9 is fixed to the agitation plate 8. The first and second rotational drive shafts 3 and 9 are so driven as to give rise the relative motion between the peripheral surface of the dispersion chamber 1 and the agitation plate 8.
