PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HTML document display device which efficiently displays an HTML document having a description on a client side image map and can quickly perform page transfer. SOLUTION: When an HTML document processing part 102 finds a description on client side image map in an HTML document, requests its processing of a client side image map processing part 105. The client side image map processing part 105 displays map information, that is, area coordinates, and jumped party address in an image display part 104 before it displays the image. Moreover, the client side image map processing part holds client side image map picture data in a client side image map picture cache 106 in a data storage part 103 after prioritizing them in advance. By the operation, a waiting time till a jumped party specification is reduced and page transfer can be quickly performed. |
