PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage check device capable of accurately performing the leakage check of a luminair. SOLUTION: A receiver 10 has a face 12 opposed to a part to be checked on the head of the body 11, and a coil L, by which a magnetic flux generated by the current of a prescribed frequency from a transmitter is detected, is arranged inside the body 11 near the face 12. A spacing retaining member 40 has a recess part 41, where the head of the receiver 10 is inserted, on one end side and is fitted to the receiver 10 so that it will be put on or taken off freely. When the leakage check of a luminair is executed by using the receiver 10, a magnetic flux is detected by contacting the head face 46 of the spacing retaining member 40 with the luminair in the state of the spacing retaining member 40 fitted to the receiver 10, to thereby keep the spacing between the investigation face 12 of the receiver 10 and the luminair constant.
