PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the insulated wheel for maintenance vehicle which is free from deterioration in insulation resistance, permitting significant reduction in repair costs. SOLUTION: A wheel 8 is formed by an inner wheel 9 which is made of an insulating material and mounted on the axle of the maintenance vehicle and a steel outer wheel 10 which is mounted on the outer periphery of the inner wheel 9. Monomer cast nylon or the like is adequate for the insulating material. Inner wheel of each of the left and right wheels 8, 8 of the maintenance vehicle is formed by insulating material. Accordingly, even if the vehicle travels on the track, each of the rails is not short circuited to each other, enabling traveling while insulated. In addition, the same insulating effect is obtained with a configuration where an entire wheel to be amounted on an axle 2 of the maintenance vehicle is formed by insulating material.
