PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device to mount and demount a cutter unit on and from a carriage through simple operation. SOLUTION: A holder part 45 in which a cutter unit 30 is inserted is formed at a carriage 31 on which a cutter unit 30 is removably mounted. An engaging member 51 is provided to be moved aside during insertion of the cutter unit 30 in the holder part 45 and advance toward the cutter unit 30 during completion of insertion of the cutter unit 30 in the holder part 45 and be locked at the cutter unit 30. This constitution mounts the cutter unit 30 on the carriage 31 through simple operation being only insertion of the cutter unit 30 in the holder part 45 of the carriage 31.
