PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store note information which can be effectively utilized as a communication history in addition to a call incoming code or call origination code. SOLUTION: Concerning this communication equipment, a call origination source telephone number can be received in the case of receiving a calling signal through a communication line, that call origination source telephone number is stored in an EEPROM as the call incoming code for the prescribed number of business, and the stored call incoming code can be displayed. In this case, when a note key is depressed by a user after an off set state is set by acquiring the call incoming code (S12: YES), a CPU fetches the note information inputted by the user continuously to the operation of a note key (S13). Further, the CPU stores such fetched note information in the EEPROM while relating it to the latest call incoming code acquired before (S18). When displaying the call incoming code, the CPU reads the mutually related call incoming code and note information out of the EEPROM and displays them on a display.
